Spider silk continues to gain popularity in the science and
fashion departments this week, with the release of Stella McCartney’s spider
silk jacket. Of course, you probably won’t see this dress on the cat walk any
time soon because the jacket is currently on display in a museum. Soon enough,
spider silk will be seen on every fashion rack though, so if you can’t afford
the $1k on this jacket you’ll still get a chance to own something made out of
this durable material.
